Fears for Resolution Savers
Millions of with-profit policyholders with Resolution have no idea what may happen to their savings as the bid battle for Resolution goes on.
Resolution is only four years old but has more than three million customers.
Long-term savers have found themselves caught up in the Resolution pot and their savings are going to be sold on again.
The fears are that those taking over may have little or nothing to do with Britain.
Several companies are interested in a merger including some foreign companies.
Most experts feel it would be better if it were taken over by a known company.
The Financial Services Authority insists safeguards are in place to protect policyholders.
